SAFETY CONCERNS

are you ready for this commitment
Boxing is a sport that requires dedication, hard work, and hours of training. There is a mental toughness that comes from training and competing. If you have made the decision to compete in the Battle of the Badges, you then must face the tough road that lies ahead.
We go to great lengths to protect our fighters
All boxers must wear a mouthpiece at all times, force-absorbent headgear, and a shirt to absorb sweat and dirt.  Amateur boxing gloves are designed to absorb not transmit shock. Finally, amateur boxing referees exercise more control by using eight counts and evaluating the boxers throughout the competitive bout. In addition to these things, both pre-and post-bout physicals are required of all amateur boxers.
